Sultan's Garten in Kronberg is another option, offering a freshly prepared and seasonal soup every day. And then a quick ice-cream either at Modi Modi or at Lolly Eis on Berliner Platz – a must for young and old in summer.

At the Kronberger Bücherstube you can find not only good books but also rare wines and elegant brandies and liqueurs. It’s also worth visiting all the other shops in the old town, on Berliner Platz and also in the Kronberg district of Oberhöchstadt, which boasts a loyal regular clientele thanks to its many stores and refreshment stops around the ‘Dalles’.

The following Kronberg shops are especially for children: Marshmallow Kids, Das Schaukelpferd and Hip Hop Kronberg. Here you can find everything from clothing to unusual toys for the little ones. Speaking of retail: the majority of Kronberg's shops are owner-operated and therefore have very individual ranges of products.
