We were in Kronberg for the fruit blossom and discovered the fruit nature trail, a real highlight. Afterwards you should definitely stop off at the fruit farm, Obsthof Krieger, for an Äppler (apple wine).

Kronberg is great for families with kids. Our kids love Opel Zoo, especially in the morning when it's less busy. We spent the afternoon at the Waldschwimmbad, a swimming pool in a fantastic woodland setting with plenty of shade and a splendid view as far as the Frankfurt skyline.
