Here are the important people behind the scenes.
They're the heart and soul of Kronberg im Taunus. The real-life people of our town who put their stamp on the place, each in their own way, and make it so special. May we introduce them to you? The faces of Kronberg town.
Living in Kronberg
The rustic tavern of the Krieger fruit farm lies in the midst of meadow orchards. This ambience of course lends itself particularly well to enjoying house apple wines and single-variety apple wines from our own production.
Our family-owned business, which has been in operation for over 130 years, is your go-to partner for ironmongery, custom fabrication and repair work of all kinds. The Scheller blacksmith shop was founded in 1882 by Ludwig Carl Scheller, whose main business originally consisted of farrier work and coach building.
The Kronberg Academy is a household name in the international music world, whether it be in connection with the Kronberg Academy Festival, master classes in violin and cello, concerts, or the chamber music festival Chamber Music Connects the World.
WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY
Jürgen, 65, visiting from Cologne
We were in Kronberg for the fruit blossom and discovered the fruit nature trail, a real highlight. Afterwards you should definitely stop off at the fruit farm, Obsthof Krieger, for an Äppler (apple wine).
Melanie, 35, visiting from Düsseldorf
Kronberg is great for families with kids. Our kids love Opel Zoo, especially in the morning when it's less busy. We spent the afternoon at the Waldschwimmbad, a swimming pool in a fantastic woodland setting with plenty of shade and a splendid view as far as the Frankfurt skyline.
